| Description of the cover image of Issue 4,2022: The Mitika Wetland is a typical swampy meadow lake-wetland located in the source area of Lhasa River, Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. It covers an area of 435km2 with an average altitude of 4900m. Being served as migration corridors and habitats of rare birds such as Black-necked cranes etc, it was inscribed on the List of Wetlands of International Importance in 2005. |
